United by our passion for visual storytelling and a deep commitment to social justice, we partner with organizations working to make a difference in the human rights and equity space. Together, we craft powerful visual narratives that shift paradigms, spark conversations, and inspire meaningful change through film and storytelling.
Every organization in the social justice and human rights space is driven by a mission—to solve a particular problem, whether it’s advocating for the rights of the incarcerated, fighting for equitable access to natural resources, or amplifying marginalized voices. But without the means to effectively share their story, these critical efforts can be overlooked.
That’s where we come in...

We are more than just a media partner—we are collaborators. Our unique approach stems from our diverse backgrounds in academia and social justice spaces. We believe that visual storytelling should be as thoughtful and nuanced as the causes it represents. That’s why we immerse ourselves in every project, collaborating with our clients to develop narratives that resonate deeply and create inclusive spaces for discussion and understanding. Together, we aim to create a lasting impact that extends far beyond the screen.
We are here to help you feel empowered, inspired, and brave as you share your story with the world. Our goal is to ensure that your message is heard loud and clear, and that it inspires the compassion, clarity, and action needed to drive change.

Edgelight Media was born from our ongoing work on The Gray: The Kim Walnes Story, a feature-length documentary that chronicles the legendary event rider’s rise to the top and her pioneering work in healing trauma through equine partnerships.
During this project, we realized the immense power of visual storytelling to not only share trauma narratives but to inspire healing and connection.
This project became our foundation, and since then, we have expanded our focus to support diverse fields—from women’s sports to prison reform, from public health to environmental justice.
